Meet your campus minister!
Sean is a devout Catholic who has a deep passion for the Lord and the mission of His church. He graduated from Berry College in 2017 where he also played football and volunteered extensively for the Rome Community. His introduction is below:
"My name is Sean Stassie and I am overjoyed to be taking over full time as the Campus Minister at the UWG Catholic Center. The Lord has led me down this path that I am undeserving of but extremely
grateful for. My love for Christ is the motivation for this career choice. I am beyond excited to serve the campus ministry with the Holy Spirit guiding me as well as the foundation of my family.
My amazing wife Rachel, along with my wonderful four-year-old stepdaughter Harlyn, my crazy but cute two-year-old daughter Saegan, and my newly born daughter Sigrid are the backbone of my life, with Christ at the heart of our family. I am so blessed and grateful for all of the supporters of this ministry as well as the OLPH parishoners and staff. I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for the Catholic Center and I ask all of us to pray that His Will be done."

What is happening at the Catholic Center at Uwg:
We are so blessed to be able to have attended the Archdiocese of Atlanta Leadership Retreat at Covecrest this year in Tiger, Georgia! Our students had an amazing time deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ and growing in knowledge about their Faith!
We want to thank all those who support the Catholic Center at UWG and this growing ministry. We look forward to our next retreat in Salt Lake City, NV for SEEK 25!
