The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a faith formation program designed for adults who have not yet been fully initiated into the Catholic Church. Becoming Catholic is a beautiful and life-changing journey, rooted in deepening one’s relationship with Christ and His Church.
Full communion with the Catholic Church is celebrated through the reception of the three sacraments of initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and the Holy Eucharist—traditionally received during the Easter Vigil.
If you’re interested in learning more about RCIA or beginning your journey into the Catholic faith, please contact the Director of The Catholic Center, Ré Slusher, at dezireeslusher@uwgcatholic.org.
